Where Is Sincerity...
Among Christians Today?

Many are the Church members, the professing Christians, the missionaries, the pastors, the evangelists, the teachers, the prophets, the "witnesses" for the Lord...

...but few are actually sincere in their practical, every day profession of religion, their walk with God and the way that they handle and interpret scripture.

One of the burdens that seems to be on the heart of every sincere Christian that is concerned with the Lord's testimony, is that the name and person of Jehovah is lifted up and glorified in the Church, by their lives being lived out so that the Word of God is seen throughout the "style" of how they live their life.

We are not just speaking about a "born-again" experience, or "growing into" as some would describe it, but rather that frame of heart and mind that is concerned and is, to a greater and lesser degrees, absorbed with the need and the requirement for Christians to be living out a right standard and life of Christianity, so that they are leaving a true testimony of the truth of God's Word.

How many professing Christians aren't there who know so little or nothing of "going on" with God, with actual "growing in grace"? What is to be the end of such professors of Christianity?

The world and many of its carnal and fleshly pleasures still holds them in captivity, while the Word of Truth says that we shall be made free, and that we must overcome this present world with all of it's pomp pride and show.

How many professors of Christianity are holding onto human philosophies and man made "extras" and are thus not only endangering their own souls but also those whom they have influence upon?

How many in business, are losing their soul to the Devil, through all of their illegal, (rather dishonest) methods of abusing the tax system? They are finding ways and have been taught by the world and their own sinful desires to cheat the system and then call it legal? Many are in doubt about their methods, and wonder if it really is all right, but alas, idolatry and covetousness have already won them and they continue on in not believing that they will be damned with the rest of the liars and thieves!

The sad truth is that few are sincere in their practical profession of religion, their walk with God, or the way that they handle and interpret scripture.

We are endeavoring to set forth God's answer to these frequently asked questions that arise in the hearts of many people.

Am I a Christian? Of what sort am I?

Am I sincere in my walk with the Lord?

What will become of the insincere professors of religion?

How sincere ought we to be?

Is it enough to be sincere in our own understanding?

What if I follow the teachings of my church or organization sincerely, is this enough?

Do I know what it means to have a relationship with  God, through His Son Jesus Christ?

What is my idea of this relationship based on?

How do I know that I really am in, or am continuing in a relationship with God?

Does it matter to you to know the truth regarding these questions?

On this site you will find articles, sermons, books and audio from various Christians from the past and some from a more recent time who have and are lifting up the beautiful truth of Gods Word.

While we do not agree with everything that everyone presents, yet we believe and encourage you to look for that common thread that is in all of the material on this site... a level of love and sincerity, of the thirst for Truth for Truth itself, and a standard of purity, seriousness and holiness that has fallen so low in our day that even holiness is a confused word.
