Reason For The Colors On This Site
Some of our visitors may wonder if there is a theme or thought behind the colors on this site. Well... really there is a basic thought that seems to get a hold of us in much of the trouble with our modern "churchianity".
Namely this... that we have so many professors of the Christian faith here in North America, but yet so few of those that profess to even show much interest in the holiness that is upheld, commanded, proclaimed, offered and is clearly required for any human to be saved from the wrath that the Word of God speaks about.
Is Gods Word so "gray" and silent on so many issues that the modern, unholy "Church" claims?
Is there really "grace" for all types of sin that is the result of laziness, stubbornness, loving this present world more than God...?
Don't misunderstand us, God is merciful, unbelievably merciful, to those who are in straits about their present experience with Him, and are striving at least to some good measure to grow in grace, to understand His will, putting off the former conduct or lifestyle that they grew up in, while they were lost and the children of darkness.
But now, we are called to be the children of Light! Where Light shines, darkness is no more. How much darkness is in our life still? Why is it there? Is it even as Jesus said, in John 3:19-21?
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light , because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
KJV
Why then, all the glossed over sin and backsliding in the "Church"?
Too many professors of Christianity have liked the idea of muddying the waters, making provision for their flesh, dumbing down Gods standards for a holy life in this unholy society and making Gods Word "silent" or "gray" on too may issues.
What kind of issues you ask?
Divorce and remarriage.
Women who will not willingly take their God appointed place in the home and the Church.
Men who will not take their God appointed place in the home or the Church.
What constitutes real sin and breaking of real fellowship in a local Church.
Separation from the religious or the heathen world and their mind sets and acceptance. This touches all kinds of practical areas such as music, clothing styles, hobbies, fraternities, clubs, cliques, communion with unbelievers, baptism in ungodly settings that are willing to accept us as one of their own...
Come friend, be honest, are you sincere? Is Gods Word really silent on these and many more issues in the Bible?
We close with the testimony of Paul as a challenge to us all in his handling of the Word of God,
"For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity , but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ."
KJV
